Privacy Policy
Bitwright — engineering calculator by Mintwright. Last updated 23 August 2026.
Summary
Bitwright collects no data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting. The Android app requests no permissions of any kind, including network access.
What is collected
Nothing. The categories below are listed so the answer is unambiguous.
| Category | Collected | Shared |
|---|---|---|
| Personal identifiers (name, email, address) | No | No |
| Location | No | No |
| Contacts, photos, files, calendar | No | No |
| Device or advertising identifiers | No | No |
| Usage or diagnostic data | No | No |
| Calculations, expressions, and history | No | No |
Where your calculations go
Nowhere. Expressions, history, variables, and settings are held on your own device — in the app's local storage in the browser build, and in the app's private storage on Android. They are never transmitted. Clearing the app's history, or uninstalling it, removes them.
Network access
-
Android app: the app declares no permissions at all,
not even
INTERNET. Every file it loads is served from inside the installed package. It works with the radio off. - Web app: your browser downloads the app's files from the host that serves this page, which — like every web server — sees the request. After the first visit the app is cached and runs offline. Bitwright itself makes no other network requests, sends nothing back, and contacts no third-party service.
Cookies and tracking
Bitwright sets no cookies and uses no tracking technology of any kind.
Third parties
Bitwright contains no third-party libraries, SDKs, analytics, or advertising code. If you obtained the app from Google Play, Google's own privacy policy governs the store transaction and the purchase record; that is between you and Google, and Bitwright receives none of it.
Children
Bitwright is a technical tool with no social features, no user-generated content, and no data collection. It is safe for any age, and it collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, no change could apply retroactively to data — there is none to apply it to.
